Tamara Conniff is an entrepreneur and music expert. Formerly the Editor-in-Chief of Billboard, she was most recently a judge on the Mark Burnett produced series “P. Diddy’s Starmaker” on MTV Networks. Prior to “Starmaker,” she served as President of Music Services for powerhouse Front Line Management Group/Ticketmaster (NASDAQ: TKTM) where she oversaw all non-management areas for the company including VIP ticketing, branding, digital and merchandizing. Front Line has developed into the most powerful management company in the world, with nearly 200 clients and more than 80 executive managers. Front Line represents a wide range of major touring artists, including the Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Neil Diamond, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Nicks, Aerosmith, Steely Dan, Chicago, Journey, and Guns N’ Roses. While at Front Line, she notably launched the first-ever artist branded internet radio stations in partnership with Clear Channel Radio.

Previously, she helmed Billboard as Chief Editor & Associate Publisher, where she was charged with all aspects of the Billboard brand including print editorial, Billboard.com, Billboard mobile, face-to-face events, the Billboard Music Awards, and licensing. During her tenure she helped launch Billboard Live clubs in Japan, Billboard Russia, the prestigious Women in Music event, as well as partnerships with CTIA, CES, and Midem. She successfully spearheaded Billboard’s first major print redesign in three decades. Billboard won the 2006 and 2007 Eddie Award for best Media and Entertainment publication.

In years past, she served as the Music Editor for The Hollywood Reporter, Senior Editor of music for Amusement Business, and as Senior Editor of New York Casting Magazine, a New York City based entertainment trade publication, where she covered film and television and wrote a weekly column.

She has been a writer in charge of entertainment for the BPI Newswire, an internationally syndicated news service, and has covered the music and entertainment business since she was 17 years old when her first article appeared in Music Connection.

Numerous outlets have interviewed her as an expert including CNN, Fox News, CNBC, 20/20, Access Hollywood, Extra, A&E, The Today Show, NPR, MTV, VHI, E!, BBC Television and Canal Plus. She was named one of Crain’s New York Business 40 under 40. Her writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The New York Post, The Boston Globe and in a number of book collections, among other outlets.

She is the proud daughter of Jazz icon Ray Conniff, and speaks fluent French, Spanish and German.

Santinelli is an experienced leader and innovator in creating business strategy, marketing and delivering results across a broad range of responsibilities including: business development, strategic planning, M&A, IPO, private equity financing, customer service, and all aspects of marketing and international operations. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors participating in both audit and compensation committees, and has served as an Executive and Officer of a public company. He is the founder of Dakin Management, a strategy consultancy focusing on small to medium size businesses.

Santinelli has served as a Partner with North Bridge Venture Partners, where he began his investing career in 1998. North Bridge is a leading, bi-coastal seed and early stage venture capital firm. His investments ranged from communications, wireless, software and Internet infrastructure.

In years prior, Santinelli has served as SVP Worldwide Marketing
and Business Development of the Shiva Corporation, a leading provider of Remote Access Networking products, leading the company through a successful IPO, several acquisitions and rapid growth phase. Prior to Shiva he held positions with the Boston Consulting Group and has spent several successful years in sales with International Business Machines (IBM).
